Description of Practice:
Kienan D. Christianson is a member of the firm’s litigation group. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Justice Robinson of the Vermont Supreme Court and the Honorable Joan M. Azrack of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
While clerking for Judge Azrack, Kienan worked on a variety of civil suits, including contract disputes between multi-national corporations, employment discrimination suits, ERISA and FLSA disputes, and several civil right suits brought against the City of New York and the NYPD. While with Justice Robinson, he worked on a variety of cases-of-first-impression involving Vermont law including issues of constitutional importance.
At New York Law School, Mr. Christianson served as an Articles Editor for the New York Law School Law Review and was a member of the law school’s Justice Action Center, where he helped low-income litigants gain quality representation and access to the courts.
Mr. Christianson lives in Burlington with his husband and their two dogs. He is an active member of the LGBT community and is a professionally trained classical singer.
