Overview

Our intellectual property group works with individuals, businesses and nonprofit institutions to establish, develop, manage and protect their IP portfolios. From creative works to healthcare technologies to higher education curricula, we work with each client to ensure it is able to protect and profit from its creations and to integrate these assets into its business strategies. We approach the development and management of intellectual assets as a collaborative process, starting by understanding each client’s business operations, strategies and goals to ensure that each decision fits soundly with the client’s broader vision.

Our experience includes trademark, copyright law, trade secrets, non-competition, non-solicitation and non-inducement agreements, and patent litigation. Should disputes ever arise concerning a client’s IP asset, our litigation group is well-versed in enforcing and defending those assets, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving infringements.
