As a paralegal, I work with both the Immigration and Business attorneys within the firm. I was previously employed by the Vermont Judiciary upon graduation in May 2020 where I assisted the Judiciary with the transition to remote proceedings and staffed remote hearings for judges. Throughout my senior year at the University of Vermont, I interned with the Chittenden County Public Defender’s office working closely with attorneys and investigators on misdemeanor and felony cases. This experience provided me with an understanding for personal and collective action, while gaining an intimate insight to criminal proceedings. My experience working as an intern with both the Public Defender’s Office and Congressman Welch’s Office fostered my attention to detail, compassion for individuals, and understanding of government entities and various proceedings. I have a particular interest in employment-based immigration and family-based immigrant visas.
