I counsel employers on federal and state employment laws and rapidly evolving personnel issues across a variety of sectors, with the goal of implementing preventative measures and avoiding litigation, while simultaneously accomplishing business goals. I also work with employers on developing and maintaining effective workplace policies and procedures. Additionally, I advise clients on a variety of employee benefits issues and assist companies and executives with executive compensation planning.
I have a background in general civil litigation, and I have experience defending employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, including in cases involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.
