Our Real Estate Group advises a wide variety of clients in connection with the acquisition, development, use, sale and financing of real estate. We represent real estate developers, owners, financiers and investors in a variety of real estate projects, including commercial office buildings, retail shopping centers, residential developments, institutional campuses, mixed residential/recreational/commercial developments and conserved lands.
Our practice includes permitting, land use regulation, financing, development and land conservation.
Working with our colleagues in the firm’s taxation and estate planning practice groups, we advise clients on issues involving succession planning in order to allow real estate owners to transfer real estate to family members while maintaining some control over ownership and minimizing adverse estate, gift and income tax consequences.
