Description of Practice:
Lauren Sampson is a member of the firm’s litigation group. Prior to joining the firm she clerked for the Honorable Justice John A. Dooley of the Vermont Supreme Court. She graduated from Duke University School of Law where she received the Faculty Award in Legal Theory. During law school, she served as editor-in chief of the Duke Journal of Gender Law & Policy, the forensics chair of the Duke Law Innocence Project and the head-writer and co-director of Duke Law’s comedy-variety show Tricky Dick. Ms. Sampson also externed in the chambers of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Joe L. Webster of the Middle District of North Carolina and worked as a summer law clerk for the American Civil Liberties Union of North Carolina and in the New York and D.C. offices of Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr.
