Description of Practice
Elizabeth Kleinberg practices with the firm’s litigation group, focusing on commercial litigation, employment law, and issues affecting institutions of higher education.  Before moving to Vermont, Ms. Kleinberg practiced in the litigation and intellectual property and technology groups at Burr & Forman LLP in Birmingham, Alabama.  She has held two federal clerkships, the first with United States District Judge Ira DeMent in the Middle District of Alabama, and the second with United States Circuit Judge Ed Carnes in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  Ms. Kleinberg also served as a Law Fellow for the Southern Poverty Law Center.  In addition to practicing law, Ms. Kleinberg was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
