Description of Practice:
Mr. Colodny offers the firm and its clients the benefit of his expertise as a corporate lawyer and executive. He served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Fletcher Allen Health Care, a tertiary care facility and academic medical center in Burlington, Vermont, from October, 2002 to October 2003. Prior to his service at Fletcher Allen, Mr. Colodny served as interim President of the University of Vermont. Before returning to Burlington in 2001, Mr. Colodny served as President and Chief Executive Officer of US Airways, Inc. from 1975 to 1991, and was also President and Chief Executive Officer of US Airways Group from 1978 to 1991 and Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1978 to 1992. Mr. Colodny served of counsel to the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP in its Washington, D.C. office from 1991 to 2002.

Professional Affiliations:
Mr. Colodny currently serves as Chairman, Fletcher Allen Health Care Foundation; and as a director of Vermont Law School and Vermont Symphony Orchestra.  Previously he served as a director of Gulf Oil Corporation, PNC Bank, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and Esterline Technologies, Inc.  He has also been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Rochester and is a Life Trustee; Chairman of the Council for Court Excellence in Washington, D.C.; and a Commissioner of the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.

Community Activities:
Mr. Colodny is a native of Burlington, Vermont, where he currently resides, as well as in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with his wife Nancy.
